Massage Therapy
Massage Therapy is a form of relaxation that helps your muscles and mind to relax.
Massage therapy techniques are applied with hands, and with the use of massage lotions and oils. A variety of techniques using moderate and deep pressure to the muscles should help to sooth, relax and calm the muscles.
The therapists at the clinic are Registered Massage Therapists (RMT). A Registered Massage Therapist is a provincially regulated practitioner, who is certified and registered in this profession. They have a knowledge base from 2-3 years of studying at a certified school, and have graduated after completing the required courses, clinical hours and examinations.
For those who are covered for massage therapy by their extended health care plans, usually, they must be performed by an RMT to qualify for reimbursement.
